I am looking for some advice! I am considering renting an inflatable for my daughters 2nd birthday at the end of May. My question is....is she too young to jump along with her other little friends? There will be about 17 other kids ranging from 2-7 and I know the older ones will enjoy it, but I want to make sure that she will too! Has anyone else rented one before? How was it?
My son is 3 and we have rented one the last 2 birthdays. He loves it. He was a little afraid the first time, but we got it a day ahead of time, so we got in it with him and jumped around. By the time the other kids came, he was a pro.
My sister rented one for her son several years ago- there were different ages of kids at the party- She had an adult at the opening of it to monitor the kids- she would only let up to 3 to 5 little ones at a time- 2 to 3 larger kids at a time. This ran so well- Everyone one of the kids got a fair share of time in it without any kids getting hurt. You can also rotate the adults- make is 20 - 30 minute shifts so not just 1 adult is total responsible for monitoring for the whole pary- hope this helps!
My daughter was terrofied of the jumpers at 2-4 years old because of the older kids. If you are really good about limiting who's in there and when it should be ok.
We have rented one for several years for a summer daycare party: if Eagan is close to where you live, Jumpers-Inc. is great. Their number is ###-###-####. Just follow the rules of the jumper - have only kids the same age jump together and limit the number of kids at a time. One and two year olds love to be in a jumper (even if they can't really jump well). Keep it safe and it will be fun for the whole crowd!
We have done this several times when our kids were very small. They were between the ages of 1-4 at the time. They both enjoyed the bouncers and the parties were really fun! Our friends still talk about how great my daughter's birthday parties were.
