Dr. Chris Clark ###-###-####) at Richardson Regional at Cambell and 75 is awesome! My family has been seeing him for several years. I'm married with 3 boys - 8, 6 and 4. He is amazing with them, very thorough and personal.
I am looking for recommendations of family practice physicians practicing in the Richardson, Plano, Frisco, Allen, McKinney and Carrollton areas. Particularly those physicians who are good with children and ob/gyn issues.

Dr. Guy Culpepper; he has three boys under the age of 15 so he knows kids. Fantastic person and all round good guy...and he literally saved my husband's life by detecting a blockage in his heart before it caused major problems.
We are heartbroken that he is out of network in our new health plan but we'll do what we have to see him. Did I mention that D Magazine voted him best Family Practitioner, 3 years in a row...they ask other doctors to vote...his number in Frisco is ###-###-####. He also has a North Dallas office that he goes to on Thursday.
We have a GREAT family practive DR in Frisco. Dr Ekweani, ###-###-####. He's on Parkwood at Warren. HE is awesome and treats my entire family, me, my husband, our 3 kids, my mom and MIL..
Good Luck,

I highly recommend Dr. Segal's Family Practice. There are 3 dr.'s in his office, Dr. Segal, his son & his daugher in law. We have used Dr. segal for 20+ years. Here is a link to his page for more information. His office is in Plano.
We like Dr. Kevin Joyner. His office is in the medical buildings by Presbyterian Hospital Allen. My kids go to All About Children Pediatrics and everyone there is wonderful. They are also in Allen.
All of my family goes to Dr. Rhonda Hopkins of Snyder-Hopkins in McKinney. They're off Medical Center Drive. They have an all female practice. Diane Womack is Dr. Hopkins' PA, and she is wonderful, too. They're very thorough, they listen (!!!), are great with kids -- I highly recommend them.

Doctor visits are always best to see if you can feel comfortable but I can truly recommend my doctor, Dr. Robert K. Dyo, at Renner and George Bush as a great family doctor. His number is ###-###-####. He has been my doctor for over 16 years now since my oldest son was born and I couldn't be happy his work and support through the years. Good luck with your search.
Dr. Aimee Wright is great! She is at 428 Maplelawn Dr., #200, Plano, TX 75075. I don't have her phone number with me, but I am sure she is listed.

In Allen, there is Dr. Daniel Chartrand. http://www.harmonyfamilyhealth.com/index.html
His office is located in the Allen Birthing Center. www.allenbirthingcenter.com. He is more holistic-health minded.
In addition, the midwives at the birth center see non-pregnant gynecology patients. The owner of the Center, midwife Becky Burpo, is pursuing her naturopath training.
These recommendations are, obviously, more for those who are health-minded, rather than disease-minded, in their approach to their health management. Focus is on preventive health and healing, rather disease support and management through drugs and surgeries. However, Dr. Chartrand is a conventionally trained MD. He is also an acupuncturist.
Hope this helps!
I have two girls ages 6 & 4. My oldest was in the ICU for eight days and if not for Dr. Ron Blair I would have fallen apart. He was exactly who God sent to us. He is located at Medical City Dallas in Dallas. However, he is leaving three of the Pedi's there and he is moving to Presiby Plano July 1st. I would appreiciate you visiting him just for an interview once! That is what I did and don't regret ever going to interview him. His staff gets A+ all the way around.
