I make my kitchen cleaner with equal parts white vinegar and boiled cooled water and a big splash of eucalyptus oil. The eucalyptus has disinfectant/antibacterial properties and smells wonderful.

White Vinegar, water, baking soda, salt, lemon juice - all components of many home made cleaners.

we use white vinegar. kills germs and mold, neutralizes urine (we're potty training now, very useful...) it smells weird, but is totally cheap and non toxic so my kids can help me clean! we just dilute it 50/50 with water in a spray bottle.

My husband put in granite tiles for our countertop. I read online where vinegar should not be used on granite. If it could, I would use it as I've heard vinegar does a great job.

I just learned that baking soda can be used for inside the oven without scratching it.
