Can someone please send me a picture of Life fitness life's dha prenatal multivitamin tablet and softgel comparing against a penny coin. I have a problem swallowing big pills and want to make sure I am comfortable with it's size before buying the 2 months supply pack for $35.

G.,

It is never too late to start doing the right things. Although DHa is good for you and baby, getting the vitamins IN is most important. If swallowing pills is difficult for you, have you considered a liquid? They actually deliver MORE of the nutrients to your system then a pill does. I have used one by Nature Plus (I get it online at http://www.vitacost.com/Natures-Plus-Prenatal-Liquid) It has a good taste and NO BIG PILL!!!! There is also a "also bought with this item" at the bottom of that page for the DHA pills! It is also available at Clark's Nutritional health food stores if you are close to one. Good luck!!

Why go with that brand? Nature Made (most popular brand on the market) has a prenatal w/DHA at Costco.

I don't have a pic, but as I recall, they were pretty big (and I don't usually have a problem swallowing pills).

I have the same issue with swallowing big pills and I found some great prenatal vitamins at Kaiser pharmacy (you don't have to be a member to go into thier pharmacy and purchase something) and they were about the size of a regular advil-so pretty tiny...I would try that :)

Hello G..
You'd be better of judging for yourself. Look at the back of the bottle or packet, look at the "actual size" of the pill, and decide from there :)

I recommend doing the research through Prescription for Nutritional healing by Balch and seeing a Naturopathic doctor. Do both!

be well.
