Love Craigslist! good luck
so we dont have to keep it in the garage or storage while trying to sell the house, or move it for that matter, Im thinking about selling some stuff that I had been hanging on to...need price ideas and where to ideas. Too cold for a garage sale brrrr, I've heard Craigs list is a good idea? anyone have any tips there?
double bed, mattress, box spring and frame (frame can extend to queen i think)
convertible crib/ toddler bed, big drawer underneath, white, very pretty, and crib mattress
media center, glossy black, think there is some glass in there but im not sure..holds up to 42" i think
entertainment armoir, light wood, real wood, holds up to a 35" tv
computer monitor 19", thinking $30 for that-- not the cool new slim ones, but it is flat screen
hmmmm
probably stuff like the baby swing, pak n play and such
probably lots of other stuff, Im just where to price things.I've never done a garage/moving sale before
Love Craigslist! good luck
Craigs list is a great idea. I've sold several things on it myself and we've bought several things from it also. Make sure that you have pictures of each item. People like to see things. It is very easy to do. Good luck and God Bless.
P.S. I don't know where you live, but Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Liberty has a weekly classified ad page where people can list stuff they are selling or put job opportunities in.
Craigslist is a good place to sell, I have sold several things on there. It is better if you can take a picture to add to your listing. Sometimes you do get the people that say they want to buy it and then never show up. But it is free to list it.
I agree, Craig's list, as they currently do not have selling fees.... Another one is a Yahoo group called Missouri Market Place.
Depending on where you are at, I am actually interested in your dbl bed, how much are you wanting for it?
I would be interested in buying your pack n play and the baby swing.
Other than that, Craigslist is great. I have bought and sold several things there. Even found the last 2 rental houses I have lived in from Craigslist. Very easy to navigate. You could try to sell your baby stuff to Once Upon A Child, or other similar store.
Email me if you want! Good luck.
Craigs list is definitely a good idea. It's where I start with most things I'm needing to get rid of.
Craigslist is awesome. For pricing, I would get on and look for some of the items that you have and see what other people are selling them for. I see this kind of stuff on there all the time but it usually goes really quick. Only thing is that you will most likely get people who say they are interested and then don't show up to look when they say they are going too which can be kind of frustrating. When you post, indicate that you will only accept cash. This will also keep some of the scammers away. Good luck!
