My daughter goes to St. James Preschool and we love it. I have heard that they have a waiting list, but it's worth a shot. Good luck.

My 4-year-old son has been in preschool since August and up until about a month ago has absolutely loved it. Since then, though, he hasn't wanted to go. When I asked his teacher about it just last week she said he has been crying at school for the past month. She wasn't very compassionate and for some reason didn't feel the need to tell me about it sooner. So we are now looking for a new preschool for next year. We live north of the river, near Liberty, in the Northview Elementary School boundaries. I would appreciate any suggestions!

We loved our pre-school. It is at Clardy Elementary in the North Kansas City School district. I know you live closer to Liberty, but you could get there quickly from 1-52. We thought they had a great program. I think you can find out about it on their web site. Spaces fill up quick so you are wise to be looking now.
The same thing just happend to my daughter. She is 3 yo. I had just changed prechools about two months ago because this one was newer and closer to our home. She is a very outgoing, Leader type. Well she had started crying when I took her to school. So I called her teacher and she said that she is very quiet in class. I let the teacher know that she is never quiet. The Teacher did not seem to into Her and did her own thing when I would drop her off . I would have to get her Cereal ready with my other child (shes a one yo )on my hip in the mornings at this new school. With no help from the teacher at all. I found out that she was the only three y/o in the class with four y/o almost five y/o. I decided that she needed to be moved back to her old preschool but I decided that I would keep her at home with me until next Aug. I think that a lot of the time it is the enviorment that causes them to act this way. I have looked into a lot of diffrent pre schools in my area (Lberty ) and it is hard to find a good one. I wish I would have never tried the new one I took her to. We learn from our mistakes:) La Petite is her old School it is small but the children are loved there. It is behind wendys in liberty.
I take my 2 year old to La Petite on N. oak and 152. (behind the gas station) I really like it. It's my second daycare (used to live in AZ). And this one is far superior to anything I have seen. The teachers seem to genuinely care for the kids. It's a little pricey though. After touring a few, and saw this one we had to make the extra sacrifice.
