Does somebody know of any music class for a 4 year old near Glendora ? I moved to Glendora about 5 months ago. My four year old is going to Foothill C. P. twice a week, but need other activities to became more sociable; he is very shy and too self - conscious for his age. I heard music classes are good for kids to help them came out of their shell but can't find one in the area. Or if anybody knows of any other activity that might help my son - Please share- (he's already been going to Karate).

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank You everyone for your responses. I will definitely check out My gym in La Verne. We used to go to My gym in Pasadena when my son was smaller, and yes we loved it. Fortunately, we just got the class catalog for the Glendora Community Center and now they are offering a new Music class for preschoolers! I'm thrilled about this. So we are going to be going there starting February.
@Justine: Thank You for sharing the information about the Sierra Madre Classes. Could you please tell me what the schedule looks like for weekdays and also what the fees are?
Thank You
P.

I'm not sure of music classes but MY Gym in La Verne is terrific. My oldest was very shy and dependent on me but these classes really helped. All three of my kids have taken classes at My Gym. My youngest started at 4mo and now at 10mo is walking and very active. The teachers are the best and know all the kids. You can try a class for free.

I second the My Gym in La Verne... we also go there. It's not music oriented, but they do have activities that they do to music if that counts?

Also, there is a bookstore in downtown Glendora that does all sorts of activities. Big Blue Chair I believe is the name. You could also check the parks and req dept and the public library!

Hi P.-
There is a new mommy and me type class called Small Talk at J. Sherman & Associates starting in February. The classes would be held in Sierra Madre for one hour per week and weekday and weekend classes are available. Your son would be in the Kinder Prep class. Classes will be taught by pediatric Speech-Language Pathologists and will include lots of singing, music and peer interaction. They will also focus on building vocabulary and social skills. Might be a good fit for you and your son! Please let me know if you have any questions!
