hi all! took a grat pre-natal yoga class w/ my first pregnancy, but are new to the area... would like to find class in littleton or lakwood area. if there is one with discussion segment to meet other moms that would be a plus.
called sweet beginnings... and it sounds like a good fit. and I was happy to see they also host meet the doula nights! which was going to be another query for me soon. thank you for the advice!
I just started a pre-natal class at Goodson Rec Center, Wednesdays from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. I read some really great reviews about it and so I am trying it out. So far so good.
I took prenatal Yoga at the Goodson Rec Center and it seemed like a pretty good class and it was very affordable if you are in district. I only got to attend a couple of classes because I was put on bed rest, but the teacher was really nice.

Hi, M.,
There is also a class called Restore the Core, a mat-based Pilates style workout designed for moms to do with or without their little ones. It's a great way to strengthen and tone the midsection as well as lose inches off the hips, waist & thighs. Best of all, you can do the class before, during & after pregnancy!
Visit www.strollerfit.com to find a class near you. I think there are classes offered in Lakewood and Highlands Ranch.
Best of Luck!
I agree about the HR rec center, I have taken a good class there. I have also heard about a class at Sweet Beginnings in downtown Littleton on Friday afternoons. I keep meaning to go try it out....it goes from 4:30 to 5:30 I think.
Try a rec center. I live in Highlands Ranch and took a gentle yoga class with a few pregnant classmates at a rec center a while back.
