I may be pregnant, but I am not sure. I am a 11 days past my the normal "28" day mark (I am usually 2 days early). I don't seem to have too many signs of pregnancy, other than my tempurature has stayed elevated, and a little tenderness, headaches (not sure if this is a sign or if I need to just drink more water)
. I don't seem to have too many signs of period starting either like I usually do.
I have taken two home tests, but both came out negative. I have an appointment with my doctor this week to see what is going on. Has anyone been pregnant but not picked it up with those home tests? Or maybe something else is going on and I just need to ask my doc?

I could never get a good reading at all (always looked negative) unless I used the digital clear blue easy tests. Maybe try one of those. Good luck!
some people just don't have high enough hormone levels for the pee test to register. your doc will give you a blood test and that will tell for sure. good luck... are you tired? that was huge for me!
Yes I have had that happen..... I was almost 2 weeks late... took a home pregnancy test it came back negative but I was sure I was pregnant... went to my doctor they gave me a test it came back negative but said once in a while those tests don't pick up on anything and so they did a blood test and I was pregnant..... hope this helps. Once my period came three weeks late, although I was typically very regular. I was not pregnant, and we never really found the reason. My Ob/Gyn figured it was due to stress. Only time will tell, though. It is still a real possibility. Good luck!
The tests have the same results the basic pee test at the Docs office. You can get a false negative at the home level and the docs. Now that being said, the doctor has options to do blood tests and ultrasound so you can get a SOLID answer. It is the best thing to get the doctor to check it out, you might have something else going on.

I never showed up on a home pregnancy test or otherwise. My acupuncturist knew, but my doc didn't. It finally took an ultrasound to figure out what was going on with my body....It was Teya, and she was 16 weeks into the baking process.
Best way to know is to just wait and see what the doctor says. What does your instincts tell you?
Just a quick story... My sister got pregnant with number 2 and at about 3 months or so she went to the doctor. When they tested her her pregnant hormones were really low, they thought she probably wasn't pregnant. They asked her when her last period was, when she told them 3 months ago, they were like oh, I guess you are pregnant. Maybe your hormones are just low. Hang in there. Good luck.
My mom never had a positive pregnancy test (7 pregnancies, 5 babies) not even the ones at the doctor. Thankfully, blood tests are not all your doctor can do to find out if you are pregnant. Ultrasounds and using the doppler to find a heartbeat are all helpful (but you'll have to be further along for that to work). Since your "about you" says you're trying to conceive - Good luck!
I don't trust home pregnancy tests. I miss my period for a few days so I took a test it was negative so I thought ok I was fine. I spotted a few days so I called it good. The next month I took another test it was also negative. When I finally went to the doctor because I was so exhusted I found out I was 5 months pregnant. So I would check with your doctor and have a blood test done. Good luck!!!
I've had stress cause pregnancy symptoms but you would definately want to go to the dr to make sure. You could have gotten pregnant later then you thought (guessing from your "about me" you are not using BC) and it would be too early for the test or the test may have been old. Being super sick now with morning sickness I have been sadistically watching those "I didn't know I was pregnant" shows bemoaning their lack of symptoms. Many of them took tests and they were negative including ones at the dr. Make sure you get a blood test since none of the episodes indicated that the woman had a blood test and that it was also wrong.
you didn't say if you are going off the pill or using it? that can affect your cycles, I know it did with me.
