Planned parenthood does tests and counseling in the event that you are pregnant.

If, by any chance you're either homeless (or couch surfing) there is an AMAZING place called the 45th St. Clinic that offers free med & dental Wed & Thurs nights for 12-23yos from 6pm-9pm. They not only have incredible staff, but for anyone that needs specialized care will seek out specialists (like hand surgeons, etc.) to volunteer their time.

Forty Fifth Street Clinic

If you're not homeless or on the edge of it you have several other options:

- Harborview is our "county" hospital that is absolutely *required* to take everyone regardless of ability to pay (although that's a pain in the neck).

- Planned Parenthood (sliding scale)

- Free/Sliding Scale Clinics. 45th Street clinc during their daytime hours is one of these... entirely different staff during daytime hours.

If you ARE pregnant... our state has something called "Pregnancy Medical" which, if you qualify works as your health insurance so that you can get full prenatal care (hundreds of OBs & Nurse Midwives and every hospital takes this state insurance. It's good for the duration of your pregnancy and for the 1st year after birth for care for yourself and you new baby. It also includes 1 years worth of BC (pills, depo, rings, patches, etc.), or an IUD -good for either 5 or 10 years depending on whether you choose Mirena or Paraguard). As an unmarried single pregnant mom with a high risk pregnancy and no insurance... this was what I used. I had the BEST office & care that I could NEVER have afforded out of pocket.

There are low cost and free clinics all over in Seattle. Try calling Planned Parenthood or Harborview Medical Center both of which you can find online.
I'm not a doctor, but know that most pregnancy test now-a-days are pretty accurate so relax if your's was negative. You could be working yourself up which could make your period late all by itself. P.S. I was a young single parent myself and the best advice I can give you is USE PROTECTION!
Good Luck!

Take another over the counter pregnancy test. Maybe you checked to early. If you are not pregnant and don't want to be pregnant please use protection. Having a kid is a lot of responsibility and I don't reccommend having a kid if you are not ready to wake up every 2 hours or at 6 am everyday. Good luck and follow your heart.
