Pregnancy/Period

I've been having pregnancy-like breast soreness, and tingling, etc. HPT's negative so far, but although period came today when due, it is very light, not like normal and almost similar to end of a period? Obviously will take another HPT but anyone have info/experience with this?
Thanks :)

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

So I took another test, and after months of TTC our 2nd baby, I had a faint positive line on HPT this morning!!!! They are the 'super-sensitive' tests I ordered online. I was really confused as to why I was still having pregnancy-like symptoms. The soreness in my breasts was way different than the occasional soreness I would get from PMS. The things that tipped me off that I could possibly still be pregnant was: 1-boobs were 'different' kind of sore and 'tingly' at times; 2-Period was light, scant and almost similar to the end of period where things 'lighten up & slow down'; 3-Sore boobs did not go away with 'period' coming (if you could call it a period). I was really hoping I was lucky enough to be one of the women who still get at least a light period although they're pregnant and my Christmas wish came true! Thanks to all who answered, best wishes to those trying, and Merry Christmas!! :)

Same thing when I was pregnant with my second child. We had been trying for months, I even took an ovulation predictor test so I knew we were "actively trying" when the test said I was ovulating. Each month I had a period and was crushed that I wasn't pregnant. On the 4th month of our "trying," my period had come but it was much lighter, lasted a lot shorter but I never thought much about it. I seriously doubted I was pregnant but decided to take a test anyway. Guess what? I was pregnant! So, yes, you can have a period and still be pregnant. Wait before taking another test.

UPDATE: A possitive is a possitive, CONGRATS!!!!

Lots of people have a high surge of hormones in the begining of their periods once and a while causing Soreness, I would not be too stressed about being pregnant or not just yet, wait another week and take another. I have a feeling you are not pregnant. If you are trying to get pregnant keep trying it will happen. Try an ovulation prediction kit (1st responce has one that worked for all of my pregnancied 3).

see what happens over the next few days with your period. sometimes my starts off light for a day or so before it starts heavier. breasts can also bet sore during your period. if you are on birth control pills and have taken any kind of antibiotics then you could be pregnant if you did not use another form of birthcontrol. antibiotics could lower the effectiveness of the birth control pills.
