Milagro's on Killingsworth and, I think, 33rd.
I am going to attempt to start potty training my 2 yr old son. I have been looking at the cotton and organic cotton underwear that are available; imse vimse, bummis, bumpkins, etc. Does anyone have any suggestions, and where to find them in Portland?
Thanks.

We used Hanna Andersson's training underpants and loved them:

They are made from organic cotton - very thick and absorbent for any accidents. They have a store in the Pearl District, an outlet in Lake Oswego (great prices if you can find them there) and they can also be purchased online.
Have you tried Tiddee Diddee in South East Portland on 92nd and Foster. I haven't needed to use them in a couple years but I do believe they carry some of those items.

I've used the imse vimse pants and I really like them. They are advertised as a diaper but they are really training underwear that the child can pull up or down. They stay really soft, have cute designs and they have a waterproof layer so they don't leak everywhere (really nice b/c boys have a really strong pee stream and it goes right through cotton like it's not even there). I ordered these on line (I don't remember which site, but whatever one you choose I would contact them personally and ask them about sizing (I think they run large but they can hellp recommend a size so you get the right one). Good luck!
