i changed my sons diaper this morning and his stool was a strange color a very pale pea green. It was also a bit mushy. Any suggestions on why it was like this. I thought maybe something he ate, (he had gerber graduates green beans yesterday.) thanks...
funny how you can tell exactly what a kid has eaten just by changing a dirty diaper. When my daughter was that age we would find all sorts of stuff in her stools... carpet pieces, foil wrappers, beads, once even a lego man head... i never could figure out where she got them to eat them, but alas, there they were. Thank goodness she never hurt herself. Crazy kid! :)

That's defiantly why... Whenever my son eats peas or green beans it will turn greenish. When he eats carrots, it turns a orange color... Don't worry, it's normal..

Yes it is usually something the child eats. Occationally it can mean the food is passing to fast through the digestive tract sometimes because of a virus. But most often it is the food color they ate.
No worries. We are what we eat. It was the green beans.
