jillcataldo.com. Go to the weekly deals page. She breaks it down by store.

I have been scouring the walgreens ad on sundays. You can get free or really cheap items. Get the rewards bucks, then re-use them for items you need.

I just did a google search the other day, can't remember the actual site but I did a "free" birthday list and it was amazing the free stuff people give you. I was at sephora a week later and they still gave me a bday gift. Philosophy shower gel.

Oh, I read loads of them! Here are some of my favs:

moneysavingmom.com --not chicago specific but great info on saving money in general, and she posts her weekly meal plans which give me lots of inspiration

jillcataldo.com --chicago area grocery/drug store sales and deals

mashupmom.com --chicago area focusing on deals and sales

5dollardinners.com --not chicago specific but focuses on inexpensive meal options, also includes some sales/deal info

babycheapskate.com --baby and kid deals, great for finding out about sales at your fav stores, free shipping offers, etc. as well as sales on diapers/wipes/formula

onceamonthmom.com --it's a free meal plan site that I keep meaning to try using but haven't gotten around to, they offer several different kinds of plans based on what kind of food your family eats

Those are just a few--there are many more out there! Take a look at the blogs that these sites reference. That's how I found most of what I read--just keep following the links.

Try coliryan.com to save money on all your purchases.
I bought clothes at Old Navy the other day. My in store purchase was 218.36 roughly and then I went home and checked online through coliryan.com...same store/same clothes.........$146.98. On top of that I recieved just over $5 cash back. Total savings......$75.54 AMAZING
Register as a preferred customer....it's free and click on partner stores. All the stores you know and love are here. Once you click on the store it will show you all the coupon codes and sales at that store.
Check out the hot deals tab too....huge savings there.
