We're moving from Carrollton to Valley Ranch, and I'd really like to get hooked in to a playgroup out that direction. Anyone know of or are a part of some good ones? My son is 18 months old... so kiddos that age would be great!

The library in Valley Ranch has a wonderfull lady for story time. I often go two times a week (they offer story time at least 5 times a week, check their website). My boys are 18 m, 3 years and 5 years. Especially the two youngest love it.
Also I have joined a mops group (Irving Bible church, close to the target in Irving.Las Colinas). They have childcare, and you meet a lot of women, all with children that age. I can recomend it! Let me know if you want more info.

Hi A.! We live in Valley Ranch, my son is 18 months too. (July 31) Look at my post about "Inexpensive stuff to do in Irving" I'm going to start doing that on Wednesdays and Fridays........ the library over here has storytime/songs on Mondays at 11 and the Coppell library (about 15 minutes away) has story/song day on Wednesdays around 11 (don't rememeber the exact time)

There is a Coppell/Valley Ranch early child pta at: www.cvrecpta.com I'm sure you'd enjoy being part of an ecpta -they have playgroups, etc. etc. I'm a member of the north Dallas ecpta, and it's a fantastic resource and social outlet. -J
I live in Valley Ranch and have a 14 month old son. I work full-time but usuallly have one day off in the week that I could meet up. I have only lived in the area since September and don't know many other parents in the area. (I also have an 8 year old daughter). If you find a group or want to meet up just contact me.
