Mothers and More is still going strong all summer long. Check out the national website at mothersandmore.org. The local chapter is the Greater Lewisville, chapter 100. There are Great ladies there for all the support you need. There are playgroups several days a week some divided just by day and some divided by age so the little ones can play without the big ones. Our welcoming coordinator would happily get you all the information you need.

I would check out www.meetup.com. Just type in "moms" or "playgroup" and your zip code to see what is closest to you. Also, try googling "moms lewisville texas" and see what comes up.

I've found the best way to find a playgroup is through a neighborhood association or women's club (it's nice when playgroup is within a few blocks of home... then when the kids get older they're in the same schools, etc.)

Another great option is a local support groups like MOMS Club, MOPS, Mothers 'N More or Lewisville Early Childhood PTA.

We're featuring MOPS in this week's newsletter: http://tinyurl.com/090724
We'll be featuring new groups each week, and will create a page on our website in August with all of the groups we've featured. Just FYI... Most of these groups meet September through May, so you might not have this option for about 6 weeks, but I would still contact them to find out if you could get into a group right away.

Good luck!

There are some established in your area. Go to www.meetup.com and search for stay at home moms or play groups. There is one based in Flower Mound but they have meet ups all over Denton county. Real Housewives of Denton County is the name of the group. There are others as well. Some with kids closer to your childs age. Take a look, I'm sure you'll find a group perfect for you :)

I've been a member of the Greater Lewisville Early Childhood PTA (GLECPTA) for four years now and I have loved it. They have many playgroups for all different ages. But they also have the best children's outings and parties. There are several activities for kids to choose from each month. The playgroups were a great way for me and my son to make friends and get support from other moms but the outings helped get me out of the house and go to new places that I probably wouldn't have ventured to alone. You can find out more at the website http://glecpta.txpta.org/ or send an email to our welcoming committe for new members at ____@____.com's such a fun group. I know you won't be disappointed.
