If you can make a cake, Wilton makes a Little Pirate cake Pan that is adorable. Its at wilton.com under bakeware, novelty shaped pans. This pan is versatile as you can decorate the little boy as a pirate or as a sailor. If you have no clue as to how to make a character cake, and if you live close by, I would consider taking it on a a project for a fee. I don't own a cake business, and I have never sold a cake before, but I have made several. I have a cute picture of the Diego cake I did for my sister.
2) have you ever been on Freecycle? Its a website where people give stuff they don't want to people who would like it. You could ask if anyone still has Gasparilla beads left over that they want to get rid of. It would be cute at a pirate party for all the kids to have the beads; not to mention, what a great party favor!!
3) If you look at places, such as Party City, they might still have some of the chocolate Gold Coins left from St. Patricks day. Those would be cute.
