I would first look into the test scores for the different classes. I would tour the building and check out the projects the kids are doing. Check the curcirulum and make sure the kids are reading at the grade level. I would also talk to the teachers and get a feel for what they want the kids to learn. Also, how interactive they are with the students. What is the teacher/student ratio in the classroom.
Are the teachers going to work with the kids to help them learn or just pass them to the next grade to get rid of them.
I would select a few from different styles. Christian, Charter, Public, and Academy see which one works for you and your child. Most kids do better in a smaller class.
What most people don't realize is the fact that the teachers are preparing our children for jobs that don't exist yet.
