I'm looking for a photographer than can come take an extended family picture at an outside location. I'd like someone that is in-expensive and offers the pictures on CD/DVD and the rights to print copies later. (We do want to purchase prints, I just like the idea of being able to print pictures later on down the road if we want to.) We wanted to do this the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The phototgrapher we had booked had to cancel and this is the only time for a while that the whole family will be in the same place at the same time.

We just did our family pics last weekend and used the same photographer that we've used for the past 3 years. She operates exactly like you're looking for, you pay a flat fee and she gives you a disc with all the photos. She is very reasonable and does beautiful work. http://www.amewsme.com did a fundraiser last year for the Imagine International Academy of North Texas, in which I was able to participate. The photographer did a good job...I had some great shots on my CD. The photo shoot was one of their "Down & Dirty" sessions which are extremely good bargains(!), but they also offer more personalized shoots. Fly Photography did some family photos for a friend and then later for a church event. They are fantastic, and they capture the most beautiful moments. They actually prefer to work outside. They got the most amazing photos of my daughter, and she was in a stinky mood that morning. :)

I had pictures taken with Amy James (amyjamesstudio.com) and she did an excellent job. I used her when she was having a special so I don't know her regular prices. I think she only offers the CD and you will need to order prints online. I ordered mine from Shutterfly and found them to be inexpensive and turned out as nice as others that I have gotten from photographers. Good luck!
