Does anyone know of a good photographer in the Northwest suburbs who does family/child photos? I'd like to find someone who might have their own business from home, another mom or something. Anybody know someone like that?

We've used Jody Garland twice and been very happy with her. She's very reasonable, great pictures, will travel for a fee, gives you a CD with hundreds of pictures that you can then print at Costco or CVS or wherever. She's in Morton Grove and here's her website:

Try www.limelight-photo.com. the studio is located in river north across from scoozi restaurant. They do shoot on location as well as in studio. They are really laid back and easy to work with. They shoot mostly with daylight in a huge vintage loft and offer reasonable flat fees with the option of going elsewhere for prints- a huge savings!
