Pediatrician Who Pays Attention and Has Good Administration (Chicago Area)

We love our pediatrician in the Lincoln Park/Lakeview neighborhoods. Our daughter is 8 months old. Her pediatrician as well as the staff always remember us by name, always take the time to answer all of our new parent questions (even the crazy ones at 2 in the morning) and appear, at least from our experience, to run a really professional and efficient practice. The clinic is Lakeview Pediatrics 1525 W. Belmont Avenue, Suite 103 ###-###-####). Our pediatrician is Dr. Jennifer Newport, but we have also seen and interacted with Dr. Janice Salem and Dr. Merly Perlman. All are fabulous! We've never had any billing issues and we too have Blue Cross Blue Shield. Hope that helps and welcome back!

I don't know where in Chicago you are located, but I take my kids to the Ravenswood Medical Professional Group at 4211 N. Cicero. The office is very clean and we always get in in a very timely manner. Their doctor, Dr. Stillings, is wonderful! She remembers treating my son as a baby and he's 3 now. She remembers my daughter. She is just very pleasant and very knowledgable. There are a few doctors in that office, but I wouldn't trade her for anything. I actually changed my daughter's doctor when I found her for my son.

All the Dr's are wonderful, but I highly recommend Dr. Wanda Karaman. Her bedside manner in wonderful, and she actually listens to your concerns and answers all your questions with patience and detail.

I would recommend Child and Adolescent Health at 1030 Clark Street. They validate parking so it is only 4.75. They have walk in hours from 8:30-10:30 M-S and all the physicians I have seen there have been professional and great with the kids. I have 3 daughters (6, 4.5 and 11 mos) with a 4th on the way. I have always been happy with the service I have received and never had any billing issues. Overall insurance issues is another story! Dr. Wilson, Dr. T and Dr. Liu are the three I have seen the most. ###-###-####. Good Luck! Just as an aside, I was married in Firenze and my husband and I lived there in 99-2000. We loved it! Welcome back.
