Can anyone recommend a great pediatrician in Orange County. I live in HB. I would like to get a second opinion for my son?
i was mostly concerned about having a pediatrician that would listen to my concerns about immunizations...there are many qualified peds in the group of Edinger Medical Group. Personally I have used Dr. Pellman (excellent) but have found to have a more gentle and understanding relationship with Dr. Valery Brouwer in the same group. she was helpful with the MMR and the undestanding of my concern of breaking up the vaccinations.
I love our pediatrician Dr. Mike Yu in Newport Beach across from HOAG. He's fantastic. He listens and truly cares about the kids. ###-###-####)

I currently go to Dr. Bart Barrett in Huntington Beach. He's with the Hoag system (Newport Physicians). He really is wonderful with the kids. He's actually a family doctor that used to deliver babies also. However, no one wanted to see a male doctor for delivering so he had to drop that side of his practice. Do you want to drive to Anaheim Hills? I know there must be some good ones closer. Chris Koutures. 2 of my kids have had problems, and he takes the time, and is serious. he isn't a warm fuzzy guy.
I live in Midway city and I go to Newport Children's and see Dr.Rothman. He was a co-workers pediatrican and is now both my boys as well. They are at Talbert/Beach in the big Huntington Hospital there. He's great and there are also a number of other pediatricans in the same group at the same location so you could go see any number of them. They have been great with both my boys.
I highly highly highly recommend our Pediatrician in HB. Dr. Paul Quaqundah office # ###-###-####. He is in the medical plaza area just north of Beach and Talbert. He has the perfect combination of having been in Pediatrics for about 30+ years but is also a teaching professor at UCI so he is well informed on all the new data and research in the field. Both my son and my co-workers children see him.
