I highly recommend our peditrician, Richard Lazaroff. His whole practice is wonderful. Esse Health Pediatrics, ###-###-####. His bedside manner isn't the warmest, but is said to be one of the smartest doctors around. He had cared for my 3 daughters for 7 years.

Dr. Putnam is our pediatrician to my 2 yr. old twins & 3 week old son. His office is on Waston Rd by Crestwood Mall. He is great, very gentle, warm, caring, and personable. I really trust his opinion, and he gives you lots of time to ask questions. His nursing staff is nice, too.
When I had my new baby, he came to the hospital that morning to check him out. He promotes breastfeeding and supports your beliefs. As the twins get older, I value having him and his staff as someone I can turn to with questions without overbearing opinions or making me feel stupid. I totally recommend you check him out. His number is ###-###-####.

My kids go to Northwest Pediatrics. Their MD is female - Dr. Fitz-James, but there are several male doctors in the group and we have probably seen each of them at least once over the years. All are very friendly, and answer all of my questions. I have never felt I was rushed through, and the nurses are awesome. Their office is on 1224 Graham Road (behind Long John Silver's)and their office is on the ground floor on the right as you go in the main door. (# ###-###-####) Good luck!

If you live close to the South County area - my daughter goes to Preferred Pediatrics. There are 2 male pediatricians and 1 female. My daughter goes to Dr. Tackes (the female). But she has seen both of the male pediatricians (Dr. Anderson and Dr. Wilson). They all are great. They will sit down and answer any questions with you and discuss whatever it is. They won't rush you in and out of the office. They usually run on time with their appointments. The longest I ever had to wait is about 10 to 15 minutes. The number is ###-###-####. They are right by Weekend's only located at South Lindbergh and Interstate 55.

Dr. Hartenbach at Esse Health (Ballas & Olive Blvd-east of 270). He is very nice. Very practical.

Positive: The office has an "on call" nurse during the day who just sits there & answers any questions you have. Great for new moms. Lord knows i called a LOT w/my first child. The nurse will tell you some things to try or if you really need to bring child in...The negative is they do not have a "well /sick room".
