Pediatrician in Plainfield / Shorewood Area

I have heard very good things about Joseph Russell, D.O. Some good friends of ours (MDs themselves) use him and love him. (The below info was taken from his group's website: www.dupagemedicalgroup.com )

A board certified pediatrician, Dr. Russell has been practicing at our Plainfield office since June 2005. He is a compassionate and knowledgeable physician with more than 25 years in practice. Dr. Russell brings considerable expertise to his role at DuPage Medical Group.

Dr. Russell received his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine in 1981 from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. In 1982, he completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Grandview Hospital of Ohio. He finished his Pediatric residency in 1985 at the Loyola University Medical Center.

Dr. Russell is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and a fellow with the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is affiliated with Edward Hospital.

I go to Pediatric Health Associates, they are up by the Edward Hospital Emergency room. (I live off of Theodore and Drauden, sounds like the same place you do). Their phone number is ###-###-####, they seem to take any insurance and they are just wonderful. They have been proactive when we needed them to be and reassuring when that was all we needed. I had a few docs for my older daughter and younger one too before these and am so glad I have this group.

I live very close to you, and we go to Apple a Day Pediatrics in Oswego. It's only about 15 minutes away, taking Shlapp to Plainfield Rd, and they're awesome!! Small practice with Dr's Jim and John Webb (they're twin brothers!). Exceptional service, excellent care, highly capable doctors. I can't say enough about them. We've been patients since my oldest was an infant, 5 years ago).

My 6 year old daughter has been going to Pediatric Health Associates in Plainfield since she was born. She has had check-ups from different doctors there and I have been pleased with all of them. She just had her 6 year check up with Dr. Laura Uselding. I'm really big on doctors who are patient with me, especially when I have a list of questions. She was very patient and took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. I didn't feel rushed at all and I could tell she wasn't annoyed or anything. She was sweet with my daughter, which is also a big plus with me.
