Hi, Moms. My son has seen the doctors at Kid Care Pediatrics since we moved here a few years ago. Granted, he doesn't see the doctor often, however he has never seen the same doctor twice in 3 years. I'd like to be able to establish more of a relationship with my pediatrician. When my daughter was born this past August, I decided to start her with a new clinic and new pediatrician in a 2-man office. I am not pleased with the doctor we have chosen - his bedside manner is just awful. He shows no interest in my daughter at all. I guess I was spoiled before moving here to have a pediatrician that made my son laugh and made his appts somewhat "fun"...if that is at all possible! :) The doctors I'm meeting here in TX haven't made eye contact with me OR my children or seem interested at all in why we are there or the concerns I have at the appt. Do you Moms have any referrals for a doctor who is very kid-friendly in the Keller/Southlake/Heritage Trace area? Thanks so much! I'm now doing interviews before switching! :)

We go to Dr. Terk in Keller. He's with Cook Childrens off 1709 and Rufe Snow. We love, love him! He's wonderful with our son and has a great bedside manner. He spends as much time with us as we need answering any questions. Hope this helps!

I totally feel your pain! I also went to Kid Care Peidatrics and was very dissappointed. My daughter was born in 2007 and we were told about Kid Care by my OB. We had been going there for 6 months and never saw the same doctor, and finally the last straw for me was when the nurse at her 6 month appt, said, "Has she been here before?"
I started going to Cooks Childrens in Hurst to a young woman doctor that is all about building relationships with her patients. She is amazing!!!! He name is Dr. Lisa Nash. I love her and am sooo happy I found her!

We also had to leave Kid Care Pediatrics for many reasons. My son sees Dr. Nichols in the Cook's network in Southlake. I love him and my son likes him too. We've been going there for 2 yr and have only had to see his associate once, Dr. Knapp. But I will say I liked him too. There is also a brand new Cook's office off of Heritage Trace pkwy but I don't know anything about the doctors. Good luck!

When we moved here over two years ago we had a terrible time trying to find a great pediatrician. I finally found Dr. Erica Zwernermann at Southlake Family Medicine. I have heard that they whole staff of pediatricians are excellent. My son loves "Dr. Z" as he calls her and my soon to be 2nd child will go to her as well. Good luck in your search!
I like Dr. Pierre Robert in Grapevine. His office is attached to Baylor Hospital. He's so nice, takes the time to talk to me and answer my questions. He always asks me how my son has been doing, etc.
