Any feedback on Fred Ghali (Grapevine TX) or K. Robin Carder (Dallas TX)for pediatric dermatology? These have been recommended by my pediatrician to look at a mole on my 11 year old.

Dr. Carder removed a mole on my 2 yr old son's back this last summer. We had a good experience.
I have taken my 3 yr old to Dr. Carder twice in the past 2 or 3 months - once for molluscum and another for shingles - and would highly recommend her. She saw my daughter right away (worked us in the day I called with the shingles) and both times the treatment was very effective. And she was very sweet and gentle to my little girl.
I love Dr. Ghali. I have taken all 3 of my children to see him. My youngest daughter was 4 at the time and does not respond well to men when she first meets them. She walked right up to Dr. Ghali and spoke to him. He responded back to her and they never had a problem. All 3 of my children were very comfortable with him and I was pleased with the way he communicated with me and my children. I recommend him all of the time. I would not take my children any where else.

Don't know them, but my kids both go to Karen Lund in Plano. Great doc.
LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr Ghali!!!!!!!
My sister took my nephew to Dr. Ghali. He was wonderful. He made the correct diagnosis for their case where the other doctors they had seen were not able to do. My nephew has other medical problems, so this was very important to get him on the right treatment. My sister couldn't say enough good things about Dr. Ghali. And, she was told that he's the man to see in this area for pediatric derm. Good luck!
Hi M.,
Last year, I tried to get an appointment for my son with Fred Ghali and there was a 3 month wait!! So I took him to Dr. Carder in Dallas. She was nice, however, it's a haul (I live in Flower Mound). When my son needed to go back, I was so turned off by the long drive, and mad at my insurance company for only providing two pediatric dermatologists in my area (it looks like we have the same insurance)!! I then realized that my son doesn't HAVE to go to a pediatric dermatologist, so I made an appointment with a regular adult dermatologist. Her name is Dr. Li and she has two office locations - Coppell and Frisco. We go to her office in Coppell. She is very nice, and so is her P.A., Sheree. No dermatologist will turn away a child - they don't care - it's money for them. Hope this helps!
My daughter has a hemangioma on her face and we saw both Dr. Ghali and Dr. Carter before we decided how it treat it. They are both professional and very competent. We decided to go with Dr. Carter becasue of her experience and training. Her office staff is very nice and she usually runs on schedule.
Dr. Carder is fantastic. There are very few dermatologist who specialize in Pediatrices and she is great with the children and incredibley knowdegeable
I took my son to Dr. Ghali two years and I thought he was wonderful. Very nice man and good with kids.
Dr Ghali is great. He took care of my daughter when she was 3 years old. He's wonderful with children!
Dr. Carder cut/froze a wart off my 7 1/2 year old's foot. My daughter didn't even flinch...Dr. Carder was very gentle and friendly. It was a good experience.

Dr. Ghali is nice and seems good, but it takes forever to get appointments with him. They usually want you to see his nurse practitioner. We prefer to see a doctor, but even as an established patient it takes weeks to get in with him. They also seem to have short office hours.
Dr. Ghali is excellent. Very thorough and very friendly.
I took my son to Dr. Ghali. He was great. I'd go to him again.
