Hi there,
I just send out a request for a part time nanny, but have thought alot about using an in home daycare. My son has gotten really sick when he started daycare a month ago. Do you mommies think that an In home daycare might be better for him than a larger center based daycare? He has never been in daycare and it is a bad time of the year to expose him, but I could not work nights anymore and take care of him. He is getting alot more active. I work two days a week, ususally Monday and Tuesday. So, it would be the same days of the week. Please send me any advice or ideas that you might have.

HI K.. I am a career mom that has decided to stay home with my children. My son is 4 months old and my daughter is a 1st grader. I am leaving my job in the middle of the month. I want to keep a couple of kids to supplement my husbands income. It would definitely not be a daycare environment..just my 4 month old..my best friends 2 month old..and 1 or 2 others. Does this sound like the kind of environment your looking for? Let me know what you think. I would love to meet you and your little boy.

Yes, a home childcare is better for an infant or a young toddler because of the low ratio. Less germs and so less kids getting sick. I would check out few homes, their history with DFPS and references.
Good luck!
