Have any recommendations for part time daycare (all day on M, W, F) in the East Dallas / North Dallas / Park Cities area?

What can I do next?

Community School is one block from SMU. They allow part-time for ages 3+. I've been looking at places myself and thought this was a good one. No availability for me, though. Christ Lutheran (Lovers just W of 75) says they do part-time, but you practically need to come in with someone to do the other days since they are so full and would rather fill the slots all 5 days then have a slot open for 2 days a week. Makes bus sense, but harder for the part-time parent.

The Carlisle School on West Lover's Lane in Dallas ###-###-####) is incredible. Ages 2-6, but sometimes children a few months younger than 2 are accepted. The school has been there for years and I cannot say enough good things about how Dr. and Mrs. Carlisle helped to build a wonderful academic and social foundation for my son who is now in 1st grade. He attended from age 3 1/2 through K. Thanks to their solid instruction and the wonderful academically encouraging environment, he was reading before age 4, began reading and speaking Spanish during those years, began writing both English and Spanish, grasped advanced mathematics concepts, learned how to play a brutal game of chess (he beats mom and dad and we don't *let* him win!), learned titles and artist names for dozens of famous works of art, can identify classical music pieces by title and composer name, learned and recited dozens of famous poems, and I could go on and on. The Carlisles make learning fun and this is something that will carry my son throughout his life. Their facilities are modest, but their strength is the individual attention paid to every child's learning style and disposition. The children are happy there and my son absolutely loved attending and still goes back a couple days per week for after-school care. He is more than prepared for 1st grade since attending The Carlisle School.

A.,
You don't say what area of Dallas you are looking for daycare. Anyway, I have a small state registered in-home childcare at Frankford/Tollway (Far North Dallas). I currently care for only 2 children, so it is very low ratio. I am available to take part-timers. Please let me know if the location works for you and I can give you more information about my program and rates.
Thanks,
A.

What part of Dallas are you looking for? I work full time for a day care in RedOak and it's a wonderful place. I am very familiar with this area so if you aren't close to RedOak maybe I can point you in the right direction elsewhere.
