I am needing to find part time childcare for my first child, and I am so nervous! Can anyone recommend a place or someone that can come to my home that will do part time care on Wed. and Thurs? I am located in Far North Dallas near George Bush and North Dallas Tollway.

What can I do next?

I have a Daughter that attends UTD (junior). She is 21 years old and has extensive experience with childcare. I owned and operated a nationally accredited family childcare center. She would be able to come to your home. She would have to know what hours you would need her so that she can rearrange her class schedule. Please let me know if you are interested.
She is out of town right now but is available to speak with you over the phone.

My son goes to Bent Tree Day School, off Marsh just south of George Bush. They accept part-time and full-time kids. You can find their info online. Good luck! :)

Hi A.,

I am a certified teacher and I have a very small home daycare at 75 and Beltline. I have a listing on Mamasource, if you click on my profile. I have written several articles about finding childcare at www.examiner.com/x-12683-Dallas-Child-Care-Examiner

If I am too far for you, you can call Nancy Gist at ###-###-####. She can help you find a home daycare close to 190/George Bush.

Feel free to send me a message if you have any questions about childcare (rules and regs, etc).

Best of luck!
M.

I found my fabulous childcare provider on the state licensing list. I chose a licensed home because I knew he would more likely receive individual attention and I wanted the continuity of a single provider. You can even check each one in your area for any possible reports/infractions. I contacted about 5 that matched my criteria and then ended up asking two for references.
