If you have it, do you like it? Is it worth the money? I am considering buying it. They have awesome products and it has a lifetime warranty but its a lot of money for cookware...do you like it, hate it?

What can I do next?

I do not know the costs involved but I've been to way too many parties and not been sold on it. They do have a couple products I use regularly... So I'm not trashing them.

For me, it is the high end All-Clad all the way. Love my All-Clad . Yes it is pricey ( about $120 for a small pan) but they are awesome!

I USE mine and at 7 yrs old, they still look brand new!

i think the quality's great. and it had better be, because the cost is just silly.
it's way better than cheap stuff, naturally, but you can find kitchen products of equal quality for a much better price if you shop around.
i love to get it as a gift, though!<G>

I'm a consultant, so I may be biased. Having said that, I do love my cookware. I use it every day and I swear I don't know how I ever lived with crappy pots and pans for the first 10 years of my marriage. I use the non-stick line. The stainless is made really well too, but I'm just a nonstick kind of girl. First of all, you can put a package of frozen meat on the cookware at room temperature and that sucker is defrosted in absolutely no time (it's all in how well the material conducts heat). Also, I often sear meats/chicken/fish at a very high temp and then finish it in the oven. Going from stove top to oven changed the way I cooked. The large 12 inch skillet with the 2nd handle is amazing. I cook almost everything in that pan. Made roasted chicken with veggies & potatoes last night and then I made a delicious pan gravy after it came out of the oven.

Are they expensive? Yes. Are they worth it? Yes, IMHO. I have many people who will Host a show just to get a set at half price or free (that's always my suggestion, although people buy them outright too). Lifetime warantee so no worries there. They're also nonstick on the inside AND outside, so they clean up beautifully. The ARE NOT coated with the nonstick coating you see on cheaper stuff. THEY WILL NEVER FLAKE nonstick coating into your food - ever. Yes, they can scratch, but they're never flake. They are a true workhorse in the kitchen.

Getting off my soapbox now. FYI, to get them for half price as a Host, you'd need $300 in guest orders. With that, you could get the 5 & 7 piece sets combined as a half price item and it would cost you $395. If you just wanted the 5 piece set, half price would be $157. The 7 piece set at half price would be $237. There are also open stock pieces too.

If you'd like to see my website, message me and I'll send you the link (I don't want to show it here since I think that might be against the rules). Good luck with whatever you decide.

The items I have from Pampered Chef and use, well, I absolutely love those items. Then there are the items I have from Pampered Chef that sounded good at the party and never actually got used. I have some items (including a baking stone) still in box new. So, I'd say that IF you think you'll really use it, then I think their stuff is worth it.

My favorite items:
Chopper
2 cup dry/liquid combo measurer
Hot Mitt and Hot Pads (because I am a burn victim waiting to happen)
Mixing Bowl
Small (fancy) tongs ...use them to serve shrimp
Medium (fancy) tongs...use them to serve raw veggies
Ice Cream Scoop

I turn down all Pampered Chef party invitations because I simply have more than I will ever use or have room to store.

If someone asked if I would give up all my Pampered Chef stoneware or my teenager.... well, I'd have to think about it. of course, she's a teenager (well - almost) so that may be coloring my decision....lol.

I have most of the stoneware. I also have the non-professional cookware (skillets and saucepans etc) that I purchased before said teenager was born (98 or 99). I am getting married in December and WISH that something was wrong with it so I could register for the new stuff Pampered Chef has (I kind of want stainless steel) but I just can't justify getting rid of an entire set of pans that are perfectly fine.... *sigh*

I lost my garlic press a while back and bought a cheapie from Bed, Bath and Beyond. MISTAKE. I gave it away and re-purchased the Pampered Chef one.

If you are going to buy the cookware, definitely you should have a party. I know, I know... but you will save SOOOOOOO much money.

I love Pampered Chef products, although I have never owned the baking stones. I have many other items. Some I have bought at parties, but many others I have picked up second hand at Goodwill, yard sales or Kijiji. My very favourite Pampered Chef item I own is simply a potato peeler. I have had it for years, but it gets used almost daily and works as well as the day I bought it. Their products are all high quality, and there are lots of really useful gadgets. One day I will probably buy a stone.

I love each piece of my stone ware. Once it gets smooth from the oils in the foods you cook it is so easy to clean and cook on. I won't make pizza without my stone.

I personally haven't bought it yet. My girlfriend used to sell Pampered Chef and bought it as a consultant...that was 13 years ago and it's still going strong....

I don't know how much she paid for it. However, whatever she did - 13 years later and still going strong must be worth every penny.

I am sure you can get good quality elsewhere and pay less - you'd have to shop around.

I have no idea what they cost, but we have a pampered chef wok that is at least $15 years old (I think it was a gift at one point) and it's still in great condition and we use it all the time.
It has definitely outlasted any of our other cookware (which is admittedly on the cheap side).

I have alot of the stoneware. I love it! I do keep all of my receipts ;) and once a stone cracked in the oven! I sent back a piece of the stone & my receipt and they sent me a new one. I use the stones all the time - don't even use regular cookie sheets anymore. All of their items are high quality....Now I want to buy the potato peeler mentioned below. lol

unless you are cooking for hundreds of people, and hard to cook recipes that require a great DEAL of finicky dishes. They are no better or worse that some others. If you are someone who really is into the amount of metal to the burner, or how much heat conduction is going on with your meal. Then by all means PC cook ware is good, I have other brands from various places and none that costs that much. I cook well, I dont burn things, and my food comes out fantastic. So IMO most of it is outrageously over priced (I have a set of the pots and pans). However if your looking at heat conduction they do have a better market there. The steel is finer quality. Though they get dirty and gunky like all my other pans do and require just as much care if not more to keep them looking sharp. The stoneware is nice, they do have the corner on the market there but still way over priced in my book.

I'm not sure if you mean pots and pans, or stoneware. I have several stoneware pieces from Pampered Chef, and love them. Worth every penny! In terms of pots and pans, I have several All Clad pans, which are wonderful but are ungodly expensive, and then about 2 years ago I was at Costco and saw that Costco now makes All-Clad knockoff pans (Kirkland brand). The whole set is $199 or something. I bought them and have been very impressed. They are heavy-duty stainless steel with copper core, just like All Clad, but are actually affordable. If you're looking for pots and pans, check Costco first. You could save yourself a boatload of money.

Aside from that, I have many other Pampered Chef products and have been very impressed with all of them. I've actually used their lifetime warranty on a few items (we cook a lot around here ;), and they replaced the stuff, no questions asked.

The stoneware is great - some of the best out there. The pots and pans, though... they're nice and well made, but don't compare to a real high end brand like All Clad. And for the money you'll spend for Pampered Chef, you could get an All Clad set that will conduct heat better and cook more evenly.

And... that lifetime warranty... it covers manufacturing defects, not normal wear and tear. So don't count on it.

I have some things I love and use all the time, and there have been some things I didn't like and returned. The nice thing is that you're not stuck with something you don't want, because you can try it for awhile and send it back if it isn't right for you.

Many of my friends loves their baking stones. I don't like them because they don't suit my cooking needs. I got one as a wedding gift and after using it twice, it just sat for years. I did love the oven mitt that came with it.

I have several items that I either bought either full price (at my mom's hosted party) or discounted (at MY hosted party) and have been happy with everything. There are a few items that I thought I'd use more, but they mostly just sit in a drawer--and there are those items I use all the time. Overall, I am happy with my purchases. I have also found some items at yard sales, goodwill, or other thrift stores and buy them super cheap! The items I have are 2 stoneware pans, chopper, mixing bowl, measuring cups/spoons, paring knives, and muffin pan. My suggestion is to attend a party of someone you really like (and buy a few less expensive items--to help them get their discounts). Then, YOU host a party and invite everybody you know (you might be surprised who will show up and actually buy stuff) and have the benefit of discounts for your big-ticket items! :)

I don't have any of the cookware, I already have a set that I'm really happy with. I do have a ton of the stoneware products that I absolutely LOVE and I will rarely bake on anything else!

I also love Pampered Chef's Steel Chef knives. They are awesome quality and very durable. Definately worth the money.

The item I use most is the mixing bowl with lid. I have two because I use them so often.

I also have a good bit of bamboo products from Pampered Chef and they hold up really well too (as long as the puppy doesn't get em'.)

I definately think the products from Pampered Chef are worth the money because they last a long time and the quality is great!

LOVE LOVE LOVE my PC cookware! The best way to do it is host a party so you can earn half priced items. My kitchen is filled with PC stuff, mostly obtained free or half off!

Oh, and keep all receipts under the silverware tray -- that way you know where they are if you need them! =)

I LOVE the cookware. I put mine through heck and it still holds up. Host a show and you can get it at a HUGE discount. They have 3 different types to suit whatever needs you have. All are great! Don't worry about not being able to put the nonstick ones in the dishwasher. To be honest, mine all come clean really easily and don't require a bunch of scrubbing. I live in Lincoln NE and can send you my info. BTW I am a consultant, too. Is it worth the money yes however I am a really frugal person so personally I always encourage folks to do a show so they can get it at a discount (even 50% off or more). If you'd rather not do a show, you can pay full price and a consultant can still enter it as a show and then you'd get extra freebies and host benefits. Something to consider. Let me know if questions. Also, in case you are concerned, I am not trying to solicite, I am just trying to answer your question. I used PC cookware for a long time before becoming a consultant but ultimately became a consultant because I loved the cookware so much. Good luck with your decision.

I'm not sure if they have a life time warranty and if they do you have to keep the receipt. I had something break but since I couldn't find the receipt and it was over a year old they would do nothing. Sometimes you find the stuff at good will and/or savers....then it would be worth buying.
