Can anyone tell me where to find a good dentist that does oral sugery without costing a arm and a leg? That is close to Bolingbrook area (please not the one on Boughton near 355 to expensive). Have a real bad infected tooth and right now pain meds is not helping looking also for old home remedies to try.
My suggestion would also be Grove Dental. I used to be very afraid of going to the dentist office, but they are very kind and gentle there. Sounds like you may need an antibiotic, so don't delay! I also live in Bolingbrook. There's a GREAT dentist that's a little bit of a drive from Bolingbrook, but he's excellent. As long as your tooth isn't too impossible to remove he's able to do it in his office without general anethesia. My husband and I have both had him remove our wisdom teeth in office and very reasonably priced.

It sounds like it is infected and you need an antibiotic. You can rinse with warm salt water . You may need a root canal and not to have it pulled. Talk to any dentist beforehand to get a cash rate if you don't have insurance. I think most dentists charge the same amounts but each would be different for a cash rate. My husband has many teeth issues and infections and we go to Burlington Dental in Clarendon Hills. Dr Wortel is a good dr. We have insurance so im not sure how much he charges but you can call and ask. Its about a 15 minute ride for you. Google Burlington Dental in Clarendon Hills and you can get the #. Good luck.
We go to Grove Dental (just west of 53 on Boughton Road). I have a coupon for 50.00 your first visit, if you'd like. They also can help figure out a payment plan. Not only do they have an adult side, but also a pediatric side. My husband hates dentists, but he's never complained about Grove Dental (we see Dr. Moss). In fact, my husband just had 2 wisdom teeth removed and was fine afterwards. Our kids love Dr. Chung (on the ped. side).

Not sure if you are referring to Grove Dental - but that would be my suggestion. They are a wonderful practice and seem to work w/ your financial situation. As far as home remedies, I've tried clove oil, applied w/ a Q-tip to infected tooth. I hope you are able to get the help you need...nothing is more miserable!
