I have 8 months old twins and I am wondering if any of you know of an online resource, where I can ask questions and get info similar to mamasource.
Thanks!
I'm a mother of 16 month old triplets. I would be willing to try and answer any questions that You might have. I know there is a twins club in most major cities. I'm in a support group for Mothers of triplets and more...but, I know there is a twins club in the area too.

My brother-in-law and his wife have twins and they are members of 2 organizations, one on the MO side and one of the IL side. Both organizations are on both sides of the river, I only differentiate them by how my in-laws are set up with them. The one on the MO side is the one that they are the most involved with, it's the National Organization of Mother's of Twin's Club, and the website is www.nomotc.org. The one on the IL side is Mother's of Multiples, and the website is www.mothersofmultiples.com. Hoefully this helps. I wish you the best of luck and God bless you and your family.

I am in the KC area, but I saw you are in St. Louis according to your profile.
I know a friend of mine who has 2 sets of twins has a Facebook account & belongs to the group
"I'm a Mother of Twins...You Don't Scare Me"
I visited that group & found this link:
http://www.twincommunity.net Hope that helps!

Hi guys! I have 4 children...2 of which are boy/girl twins. I am members of several yahoo groups concerning twins/multiples. There are many forums so you can feel comfortable with the advice you are getting and so on...premie tiwns, breastfeeding twins, attachment parenting, etc. All you have to do is go onto yahoo.com, find the group link and it will lead you thru the steps of finding a group/s. THere are tons!!! When I first looked back when I was prego with them, they even had the prego w/twins group. You will have to ask to join, they want to screen to make sure there are no psycho/pediphyles attempting to join, but that is as simple as telling who you are, why you want to join, and your children's ages.
I have found the groups very informative and helpful, great ways to find new friends, in similar situations, and you actually might find a group in your local area. I found a couple recently in the DFW area that I am relocating to this summer.
Hope this helps, and either of you can email me off list if you need to vent/ask.

A.! Congrats on being the mommy to twisn (plus another two). I feel like a superhero with just my twins, I can't imagine having 2 more. My twins are 15 months old today. You can join Kansas City Mother of Twins Club (www.gkcmotc.com). They have online resources and also meet monthly. I have any other questions, please feel free to email me offline.

The National Organization of Mothers of Twins Club at http://www.nomotc.org/ should be able to help you. There might also be local organizations. The info for the chapter in St. Louis is Greater St. Louis Mothers of Twins Club
Contact - Cheryl Stamp at ###-###-#### or ____@____.com can visit their website at http://www.stlmotc.org/.
Good luck. The support of other multiple moms is very important. Take it from a mom of triplets.

I can't say enough about the twinstuff website, especially when it comes to the message boards. They have forums separated by stages, from pregnancy, nursing, infants, toddlers, schoolage, and on.
I also think Twins Magazine is really great, too.

I am also a mother of twins (their almost 3 yrs old now!. My best resource for questions and support similar to what you experience on Mamasource is the Greater KC Mother of Twins Club. We have monthly meetings and several activities ("mom only" and "family"). Through this organization I have made several close friends and received much needed advice through my twins phases of life. Our website is www.gkcmotc.com Our meetings are the 2nd monday of every month at 7pm located in the Nazarene Church on 118th and State Line Rd. Each meeting has a specialized program/speaker. You can attend up to 3 meetings prior to becoming a member so feel free to check us out when you get a chance. The website also offers some additional details about our club. Once a member, you have access to all the discussion boards and ability to connect to hundreds of members online.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Hope to see you soon,
K.

If you go to www.cafemom.com they have many different groups set up. You can find groups based on where you live, when your children were born, and of course having multiples.
