So Troy hunts. I am okay with that, we also cook everything he kills so, ya know, it is like fishing to me. Actually better cause everything comes in butcher wrap.
Anyway, he has these two beautiful Mallards mounted above our fish tank in the foyer. I want to decorate them for Christmas. They are boys so I don't think it is nice to put bows on them. I was also thinking maybe lights on the tree they are on.
So does anyone else have ideas on how to decorate indoor waterfowl?
Troy will not want them humiliated in that manner. Still he will laugh and roll his eyes at me like he does for just about everything I do for Christmas. :)
I like the wreaths but I need to find ones that would not hurt the ducks. Troy will think it is funny right up until something gets broken.
I like the antlers too. Maybe I will make some if I can't find non-damaging wreaths.
Oh my god elf hats!! Okay the hat rack (deer) needs to come home from his brother's house. I have too many ideas! We left the deer with his brother because we didn't know how Andy would react to dead things on the walls. He is my Autistic one. As it is he loves them, go figure.

What I'm stumped on is what kind of sleigh/presents they'd bring? A regular one or a flying zodiac? With a stuffed labardor toy and bird shot? Or is that just wrong?
Yep, I was going to say a mini-santa hat. But I guess elf hats would be more apropo, no?

hey, the past few years, I've just focused on using fresh pine boughs & holly thruout the house.

We have a mounted pheasant in our office......I've never decorated it though, maybe I'll start this year :)
