I would agree with the powder! I also use my husbands deoderant, for some reason it seems stronger :)

Hello! Since I had my son, 8 mos. ago my hormones have changed drasticly. I have not been able to find a deoderant or antipersprint. I've even tried the "natural" brands, nothing works and helps me stay odor free, well its not like I'm smelly but I have a little tangy odor to my pits. The deoderants keep the sweat off, the other problem is that the one's that do work for me leave a white resedu on my clothing. I've tried secret, degree and all of the brands that are clinically proven to work. I have tried all brands in the local markets, target and walmart, any suggestions? I've ended up spending lots of money on something that is not working for me. Any suggestions

you know what works soo well for me and smell nice! secret platnum with the spanish rose scent. the scent last all day and sometimes when i shower the next morning i can still smell it in the steam of the shower. also what could help too is taking a few baby wipes and i travel size deoderant and when you use the restroom wipe your underarms with the wipe dry and put a new coat of deoderant. hope this helps good luck!
I've gone 2 ways:
1) Men's Mitchum unscented deodorant/antiperspirant(lasts for at least one whole day...although it lasted for 3-5 BEFORE my son was born).
or
2) Reapply natural deodorant every time I pee.
ummmmm....hate to mention this...BUT...
From working in a women's clinic, lot of women start producing a scent between their breasts on their sternum after pregnancy. The scent production doesn't really ever go away, and it tends to be mild, but that might actually be what you're smelling as you take off your shirt, or sniffing in other areas, since your breasts and air move around as we yoga about to get our nose under our arm. After all, it's not like we can actually get our NOSES there! Test for it with clean fingertips. It's "fixed" with a simple dab of deodorant.
Hi A C After you apply the deoderant apply poweder, that's what I Do J.
Hi AC:
If it ain't one thing its another huh? Most people don't realize, that there's a big difference between antiperspirants, and deodorant.Best thing to use right now, is A natural alternative. Natural deodorants are available in many health stores and online, and may provide a healthier choice. Consumers should still read labels to insure that such products do not contain dangerous chemicals. Not everything that is advertised as “natural” is made from 100% natural ingredients.
Natural deodorants do not act as antiperspirants to block sweat but are made of natural anti bacterial agents and perfumes which limit the bad odor.
You can choose from crystals to sprays and roll-ons. They are good for sensitive skins and contain natural anti-bacterial ingredients and essential oils for scent. Naturally deodorizing ingredients to look out for are witch hazel, lichen extract, sage, calendula, lavender and tea tree. You should know that talc also absorbs moisture but could encourage bacterial growth.
Natural deodorants may not sound great but their results are generally
pretty good, especially if you do not sweat too much. They protect the skin a lot better than shop-bought ones do and they control the sweat and simply eliminate the odor naturally without clogging up the pores. The best to you hun. J. M
I use secret. Something about it made to work with female hormones. I like the ones that release smell as you warm up.
Try using an antibacterial soap (dial) in the shower and Secret physicians formula and two showers a day. Good luck!
sometimes I reapply at night. and make sure your pits are completely dry after shower before applying (i use my hair dryer!)
