My two year old routinely asks for frozen corn and/or peas for breakfast. Frozen, as in not cooked or heated in any way. Straight from the freezer.
Ok, this is one that I think we all find ourselves scratching our heads over sometimes with our own kids so time to share and be confused about other kid's crazy food habits ... my son eats Eggo waffles FROZEN ... no toaster, no microwave he just goes in and eats them as they are straight from the freezer (he is currently 4). I know they are good for teethers but we never did that ... it started around 3 when we moved in with gma and they are a staple in her house especially now. So, what are your kid's crazy food habits or is it just mine?

My daughter eats raw green beans and raw snap peas - BUT will not eat them cooked. (I have tried them and they are actually quite good raw - I know the snap peas aren't such a stretch, but the beans, I didn't expect!)
I have a friend, who still as an adult, dips french fries in her frosty from Wendy's....
My daughter used to like to dip popcorn kernels in milk and dip graham crackers in water.
My daughter dips her chicken nuggets in the caramel sauce that comes with the apple dippers at Mcd's. She wont eat them with out the carmel!
My daughter is 4 but doesn't really have any odd food habits yet. She likes to dip just about everything in ketchup but I think most kids do that.
My mom said that when I was little I used to like to dip french fries in chocolate milkshakes. Yuck!
My son loves frozen foods too, especially vegetables. He'll eat almost any vegetable if its frozen.
not odd. my 3 year old eats frozen waffles and peas. the kids i nannied for ate frozen peas too. whatever works and isnt hurting them !
Chicken nuggets and elbow noodles rolled inside soft tacos with shredded cheese. Gross, I know! Couldn't wait till they outgrew that one :)
Whenever my little sis would get to pick a meal it would ALWAYS rhyme...her fave?: macaroni and cheese, fish sticks, and peas! She hated peas, but she would choose them everytime just for a rhyme :)
My kids dip most foods in ketchup
My son likes frozen waffles, frozen peas, frozen chicken nuggets (pre-cooked). I have NO idea why, and it cracks me up, but I'm just happy he eats. He'll eat a red tomato like it's an apple.
My baby has pretty normal ones I think, mostly everything has to be dipped right now. Then again she's only 2.
I, on the other hand, have always had extremely weird food habits.
Things I still do from childhood are:
I like my french fries dipped in any kind of ice cream, doesn't matter the flavor.
I also have been known to dip chimichangas, and corn dogs in ice cream.
I eat chicken nuggets with honey (at wendy's I dip them in a frostie).
I suck all of the flavoring off of ranch Doritos before I eat the chip.
Those are just a few, there's more. I outgrew a couple of gross things...like pouring a bag of M&M's in a glass of milk then drinking the milk but not eating the M&M's, lol....everyone tought it was gross. My Mom used to always put peanuts in her coca-cola.
My old room mates daughter would go in the fridge and take bites of raw onion, I thought that was pretty gross. Oh she was 3 at the time.
My son at times will dip whatever he is eating into whatever he is drinking. He does not do this all them thank goodness, but it happens on occasion. I have seen him dip peanut butter sandwhich in water, and chips in juice, etc. It dont matter, he will dip it. YUCK!
We used to smash white bread slices, roll them up and dip them in orange soda. Kids are so gross and yet so picky about other 'normal' foods.
My 6 yr old son likes to dip carrot sticks into parmesan cheese powder.
Not that weird, but my son likes his "veggie sausage" (doesn't like the pork kind) dipped in maple syrup.
lots of kids like things frozen, it's part of being a kid
