Is this what you are talking about? You aren't supposed to suck on it you are supposed to squeeze a little out onto the spoon and feed it to baby like you would with a regular spoon. I would not feel comfortable if it's a bottle that she's supposed to suck on for the same reasons you never put cereal in a regular bottle. If she can't handle a spoon hold off on the solids she isn't ready yet.
Edited: first off you should not start solids before 6 months starting before then can cause allergies, digestive issues, been linked to obesity among other health issues. Second cereal in a bottle is a choking hazard!

How old is your baby? What's wrong with a normal spoon? If it's the one Rachel K posted, honestly a regular spoon is SOOO much easier! You don't have to hassle with filling it, you don't have to wash it in any special way... Plus, like Rachel said... if he can't handle it off a regular spoon he shouldn't be having it yet. (unless directed by a pediatrician...)

if your baby is old enough to eat cereal she is old enough to use the spoon return it and get your money back and use it on spoons

I never used one of those, but when I buy new sippy cups I usually have to use one of the prongs on a fork or a toothpick to open/loosen the hole a little. You might try that!

could be too thick. water it down with formula or breast milk.
