my son started this year at my others at 2 we good to the providence christen preschool at the movie church in royersford and my son and nephew both love it
Hi everybody. I was wondering two things, what age should a child go into preschool because my daughter is three and completely potty trained and I think that school would be good for her as soon as I can get her in. She is so smart but there is only so much I can do with her especially with having a three month old son too. The second is I live in Spring City, right next to Royersford and I was wondering where a good preschool is for her. And one other thing, I am not sure how this whole school thing works for little kids, is she there half a day, whole day, do I pick her up and drop her off etc. I hope I don't sound like an idiot but I am still a relatively new mother being that my oldest is only 3 and I really need some help. I want the best for my kids and I am sure you other moms out there can give me the best adivce. Thanks so much.

Hi C.-
One response already addressed your frequency and age inquiries. Since you are in Spring City, check out Zion Lutheran Preschool. It's right in Zion Lutheran church on 724 heading toward Phoenixville. You can explore the preschool info by going through the church website. www.zionofspringcity.org
I've been in many of the preschools in the Phoenixville area in a different capacity, and my experiences at Zion were great. The director is also great. Good luck with your search and with your baby.
Most preschools begin at 3 years old (some earlier) and require the child to be potty trained - so your daughter definately qualifies. At three years old, she would probably go two or three mornings per week. From 9a-12n.
but, it might be hard for her to join a preschool class in the middle of the year as all the kids already know each other and are used to the idea of being away from Mom.
Many local churches have preschools and that can be a good place to start looking. You could also get recomedations from friends, neighbors or even your pediatrician. You should plan to go visit the school, find out all of their policies/practices and tour the school while kids are there in session (so you can really get a feel for it).
Good luck!
