I can't believe it is time to think about preschool, but my little guy will be 3 this summer. Which preschools have you loved being a part of in the Northglenn/Thornton/Westminster areas and why?
Though it'd be a drive for the area, Our School Preschool on Cherryvale road is fantastic. Sliding scale payments, inclusive, play-based (kinda like Waldorf). It's a parent teacher co-operative, a bit different than the classic schooling preschool. I highly recommend it!
A Child's Touch DEFINITELY. Its indescribable- call and schedule a tour and you will see what I mean. Its AMAZING!! It is Christian based, though, so if you like that- AMAZING!!! My son goes there now, will through the summer and then its time for Kindergarten!! Lemme know if you want any more info!

Start looking ASAP. If it is the same in your area as it is in Boulder, most of the schools have long wait lists and I didn't get my daughter into our first choice preschool because I wasn't on the wait list early enough. Good luck!
My son goes to the Wooden Shoe in Westminster, they are AMAZING!!! He has been there since he was 1, he is 3 now. He loves it there. They are family owned and have been in business for 35+ years. A lot of the teachers went there as kids. We call it school because it's more like school then a day-care. They do day-care, preschool, kindergarden and after school care. They have 2 swiming pools and a gym. My son swims twice a week, gym twice a week and has a cooking class once a month! This is all included, nothing is extra! My son is so far ahead on his learning skills then a lot of his other friends, the Wooden Shoe teaches them so much! I love them and have NOTHING bad to say about them! They are located at 92nd & Wads in Westminster.

My daughter went to the Academy at 112th and Sheridan and loved it. However, they don't have a very competitively priced part time program. My 3 1/2 year old just started at The Children's Place at Front Range Community College and they are fantastic. You can do 1/2 days which are 8 am to 12 which I appreciate more than the 2 or 3 hour programs. With those, I get home and would have to turn around and pick her up.

Both of my children have attended Gethsemane Lutheran School since 2006. The have an EXCELLENT Montessori based preschool. The teachers are the most caring individuals you will ever meet and they have decades of experience in Montessori learning. More importantly to me my children LOVE being there! If you are not familiar with Montessori you can always stop by the school for a tour. And enrollment for next year just started so now would be the perfect time. They are also very reasonably priced and even have tuition assistance if it is needed. All of their contact info is on their website: www.glutheranschool.com.
I love Bright Future Preschool, at 120th/Holly. It's located in a licensed home. My son went there for the preschool and the pre-K class. The class size is small and the teachers are wonderful. http://www.brightfuturepreschool.org/
