No Period - Howell,MI

a group of BF'ing moms and I recently commiserated about this and the general consensus was that most of us BF'ed for about 10-11 months before we got our periods. Some of them didn't get their periods until after the child was completely weaned (for some women, 2-3 years!!!) Don't worry about it and thank your lucky stars! But remember, you won't know you are ovulating when you finally do start your cycle, so you'll still need to be careful if you want to avoid another pregnancy for now.

Not unusual. Your hormones will get back to an even keel. If it really worries you tho, see your OB/GYN

It's totally normal. I loved not having one while I nursed!

consider yourself lucky. i was told that when you breastfeed you don't get your period, (so this is normal) so i was excited when i started breastfeeding that i wouldn't have to deal with that. but i am one of the unlucky ones that does get her period while breastfeeding. i would get a test if you and your husband haven't been too careful though.
