No Breast Size Change or Tenderness at 7 Weeks Pregnant

I just wanted to ask if it is normal to not have breast size get bigger or any tenderness at around 7 weeks of pregnancy. I am going to the doc tomorrow for an ultrasound to see if we can see a heartbeat and I will ask her then but I can't wait until tomorrow because I am kind of worried.

With my first pregnancy my breasts were already tender at 6 weeks though I know every pregnancy is different.

What can I do next?

I think that it is not unusual. Remember some people do not even realize they are pregnant until that time or later so they would not even be looking for those signs.

mine never changed! I wish they did because I've always been an A cup. I was actually really bummed because even after my babies were born, they didn't change at all. My milk also never came in either with both my kids no matter how hard I tried to get it to come in it just wouldn't, so everyone is different. I wouldn't be worried about it

Well I have had 3 kids and my breasts didn't change size and were not tender at all during the whole pregnancies....I didn't even produce milk!. Now I think I may be an exception as most people produce milk whether they intend to BF or not , but I had 3 healthy kids , so try not to worry because every pregnancy is different and things happen later or don't happen at all , but you may get something that never happened the first time round.

My breasts were only tender with #1 -- not #2 or #3. With #3, they did not get bigger till about 12 weeks (currently prego with #3 at 16 weeks).

Best wishes and try not to worry!

Mine were only sore with one of my pregnancies, I'm on baby #4. I'm 8 weeks today and they are not sore at all (yay!) and are not bigger (boo!). Try not to worry yourself over it. Yes, I said try. Easier said than done :)

Congrats on the baby!

Just like you said, every pregnancy is different! My first son I had no idea I was even prego. The only thing was that smoking made me sick (I was a pack a day smoker...and gave it up when I found out I was prego). No breast tenderness, no swelling, no puking....just really tired! I am at 35 weeks with my 3rd child, my first daughter, and my breasts have been killing me since the beginning! So tender! Even bras hurt. And I really only noticed the size difference (them getting bigger) recently. Consider yourself lucky that your breasts are not hurting, it's a huge pain in the butt! (and breast lol)

Try not to worry. My breasts didn't change at all during my first pregnancy and I had no tenderness. Man, was I in for it when my milk came in. I thought I was gonna die. My boobs were instantly so huge and I was not prepared at all!
Nine years later, my daughter said to me one day, "Mom....you have to be pregnant. Your boobs are HUGE!" I had tenderness and yes, my boobies were getting out of control, but they said I couldn't have another baby and I was scheduled for a hysterectomy so I was in denial.
I ended up with a beautiful, surprise son.
My pregnancies were night and day different in the breast department.

Best wishes at your appointment tomorrow!

Try not to worry. I didn't have any breast tenderness with my first pregnancy and only noticed size changes late in pregnancy. I am now pregnant with #2 - I am 23 weeks and am just starting to need a bigger bra and still no tenderness. I think 7 weeks is still early. I know it's hard but try not to worry. Those early weeks are so hard when you don't really know what is going on in there. I'm sure everything is fine. Good luck!

Worried about your breasts not getting bigger or sore? Were you hoping they would? Every woman is different, as is every pregnancy. Once your milk comes in, you'll have plenty of size and tenderness to contend with. Enjoy your pregnancy without worries or concerns.

yeah that's fine. With my first my boobs were so tender right around the 5 and 6 weeks mark but with my second I never had any tenderness and they didn't start to get bigger until about month 6. Now with my this pregnancy I am 19 weeks and just now started having some tenderness and they have started to grow. So don't worry, not having sore boobs early doesn't mean anythings wrong.

I just posted a very similar question. I am 6 weeks and have NO symptoms at all- including no change/soreness in breast. I got plenty of reassurance that this is totally normal and ok. I am also going to the Dr tomorrow too, just to make sure everything is ok. Best of luck to you!
