I have two girls ages 4 and 7 and they enjoy Ninendogs, Imagine Babyz and smart girls (I know there is a smart boys also) - all of which we got at Target.
Even I enjoy playing them.
What's your kid's favorite games? We finally caved in and joined the club. Any ideas on how to get good deals on this stuff would be helpful too.

I too gave in. It is not easy to find games without hitting or shooting in them.
I have found used games at EB Games or GameStop cost a great deal less. Good luck!
if you have a store called GameStop or BigKIDS they have great deals on new and used games hope this helps you from dereksnanna1
EB Games or Game Stop are great places to buy used games and your kids can sell their old games when they are tired of them.
Game Stop or any other gaming outlet. They sell used games. Just don't buy the New releases they go down after about six months if you can just wait.
We like to go to CD Tradepost and get our games there... My son Kory (he's 10) loves Pokemon games, while I prefer the Sims series... I grew up playing in arcades, and enjoy the fun quality time together playing on our PS2! :)
Ebay, that's all I can say. we buy all of our games there and save a bundle.
Good luck,
D.
We are fairly new to it also, but my girls love the Nintendogs game. My kids are 11 and 9 years old.
Gamestop (EBGames) is a great suggestion. We also have GameCrazy stores around the St. Louis area. My kids love the DS (I even have one).

I shop mostly Ebay. I do go to gamestop but they are not always cheaper, at least were I live.
My kids like, Sims, pet vet, pokemon, tetis, flash focus (really fun), zelda, football, mario kart, sonic we dont have any fighting games unless you consider pokemon fighting. Check out craigslist and your local freecycle list. And dont forget yard sales.
Oh and game boy advance games work in a DS so it a cheap way to get game there too.
The best place to buy used games is Game Stop/EB or Slackers. Both places have a policy were you can return the used game within a week (I believe) and exchange it if there is ANYTHING wrong with the game. If you get a gamers card from EB you will save TONS of money. You get a discount on all used games and it pays for itself in just a few purchases.
My husband and kids are big gamers... I've saved over $100 ALREADY this year!!! The card only costs $15 or so!
Have fun!!!
Hello D.,
Well not sure how old your children are but I have a 6 yr old and 8yr old and my 4 yr old son loves to play the Ds. There favorite games are cooking mama, the dog and cat game and they love mario. My suggestion is go to Game Stop. You can buy used games and if you don't like them you can exchange them within 7 days. You can also return them if something should go wrong. Hope this helps.
My husband is a big kid at heart and has a DS. Before our daughter was born 4 months ago and we had some spare time, we would sometimes play Brainage. It has fun puzzles that really get you thinking. We like to prove to each other who is smarter :) It is a great fun and educational game. I would recommend it for 4th grade on up. I teach 6th grade math and know that my students would really enjoy it if they could play it at school.
