Hi I'm looking for some information regaurding a diaper that my 2 1/2 year old can wear at night that will not leak. He is soaking thru his size 6 pampers baby dry diapers every night now. (I have had bad luck with Huggies leaking during the day so I am not sure how the overnight diapers would work). Is there a diaper out there that comes in a size 7? I appreciate any advice you can give me. Thanks J.

Huggie Overnight diapers work AWESMOE! Just use the size your son is really in (or go up one if you're in the middles). My son did the same thing every night, and this solved our problem. They come in a purple package with a little boy on the packaging cover. Sold at WalMart for sure, and usually Target.

Good Morning J.!!

I have 2 suggestions for you. 1. Depending on your child's body type, it might help keep him dry to go to a night time pull-up. (Huggies makes Good Nights that are really absorbant). But if your son is a littler guy, these might be to big and you'll still have the leak problems.

The other option is to purchase something called "diaper liners" or "diaper doublers". I used to find them at Meijer.. then they discontinued carrying them.. then I found them at Rite-Aid. Basically they are like a large maxi pad that you put inside the diaper for added absorbancy. If you can't find them at Rite-Aid or maybe CVS.. you might want to try using an adult incontenance pad (like Poise) and insert that in his diaper for the night.

Hope you found this helpful! Good Luck!!
Peace!

Hi J.,

I was having the same problem with regular pull ups. Now I am using the Huggies nighttime pull ups and we haven't had a leak yet. They still come in the toddler sizes so they aren't huge like the underwear type ones for the bigger kids.

Hope this helps.

The Huggies Overnties work very well. You should give them a try...

Also, make sure you limit the amount of liquids he drinks in the few hours before bed.

If all else fails, Babies R Us carries "diaper doublers" which look just like maxi pads (without adhesive) and go inside the diaper. Basically you are adding an additional core to absorb the liquid. I am pretty sure just using a regular maxi paid in the diaper would do the trick too.

Good luck!
