New Moms in Austin

I just joined an attachment parenting group in South Austin that meets once a month. They also have play groups to attend in your area. That is something I found in ParentWise. LaLecheLeague has regular meetings as well. My daughter (17 months) and I go to The Little Gym and used to go to Gymboree. These are wonderful programs for mothers and babies. She & I actually started at Gymboree when she was just 3 months. I found it to be very helpful meeting new moms. Congrats on your new baby!

I would love to be able to do something like this. I live in Austin, just off of 35 and Braker Lane and I have a 1 month and 6 day old daughter Angelita but we call her Angel. If anyone else is wanting to do something like this, I think it would be great.

Has anyone actually put together a group? I would like to join if you have. I have a little girl that turned 7 months old TODAY! I need to socialize her with people other than myself and my neighbor. She has a daughter but she is almost exactly a year older than mine. I think that my daughter would love to play with others closer to her age. She has such an interest in my neighbors daughter but her daughter shows little interest in her.

I have been looking for the same thing. I have a daughter who will be 6 months old on nov 8th. I am off of 620 near the lake. I would love to get together with other moms and give my little girl someone else to interact with!!
