Hi L., I would be interested in starting a mom's group. I live in Windsor and have a 6 month old daughter Gabby. I joined the Santa Rosa Mothers Club and the found out that the dates of the general meetings conflict with another organization I am part of (The Active 20-30 Club, social & service organization). I may have a few other friends that would want to start this up too. 1 has a 3 month old and another has a 5 month old. Hopefully we can make something work. I have lived her all my life so I am pretty familiar with lots of things to do and places to go..just want to find other moms to go with! ~ J. (____@____.com)

Hi L.,

Welcome to Santa Rosa. I was born and rasied here. So was my husband. I own and operate a franchise called Baby Boot Camp. We offer stroller based fitness classes for parents with children ages 6weeks - 6 yrs. We have mom's night outs once a month, are currently starting to train for a race in Nov.

We're not a "mom's club" BUT we are a group of moms who help, support and encourage one another in our goals to be great moms and healthy, fit, strong women.

You can check out our blog where some moms have shared their stories about what Baby Boot Camp is to them. More stories will be added soon.

You can also learn more about Baby Boot Camp by visiting www.babybootcamp.com

Your first class is free so come give it a try. Feel free to call or email me anytime.

The Santa Rosa Mother's Club is a fantastic group. There are monthly general meetings, social activities, community service activities and playgroups available for you to join. I joined when my daughter was 5 months old (she'll be 3 in December) and we are still in the same playgroup w/ 7 other kids of the same age. They also have an e-group community which is a great resource similar to Mamasource, but just for SRMC members. Check out www.santarosamothersclub.org

Mother's of Preschoolers (MOPS) is a great organization to meet moms at. There is a group that meets in Petaluma during the school year on Fridays. You can check out MOPS website for more information. MOPS was a lifesaver for me - I attended 12 years and made awesome friends!
