New in Town

First, welcome to Las Vegas. I'm not sure what part of town you are in, but I take my kids to Wee Care Pediatrics. They have just opened another new office (somewhere on the east side of town), but the location I go to is on Durango & Tropicana, in the SW part of town. Their phone number is ###-###-####. Dr. Bakerink is absolutely wonderful. The office is very kid-friendly, the staff is nice and I never have a problem getting my kids in to see them. They have walk-in appointments each morning, weekend hours and are always available for emergencies. You would not be disappointed taking your children to this pediatrician. Welcome to LV...I take my little one to Dr. Krimani on Lake Mead and Mariner. She and her staff are wonderful, actually she is the best. My little one loves her.

I also take her to a place called Kid Doctor Urgent Care. They are on the 215 and Tropicana. They are pretty good too. Not quite as kid friendly as Dr. K, however very informative. The doctors (husband and wife team) will answer any question even if it is not related to the visit. I ask an average of 4 different questions during my visit and have never been told to schedule another appointment.

I have an absolutely wonderful pediatrician to suggest! My name is Jenny and I have a 16 month old little girl. I have taken my little one to Dr. John Lepore since she was a newborn and I have reccommended him to several of my friends who have given birth in the past several months and they all say the same thing, They LOVE him! He is so good with children and he has kids of his own! I can't tell you how nice it is to know that your baby is in good hands, especially when I am not native to Las Vegas myself. His practice is called Kidfixers Pediatrics and I believe his office is currently moving to the Summerlin hospital area(however, I have to tell you I would drive any distance to go to him, and no we are not related 8)) His phone # is ###-###-####. If you are in the summerlin area or close to it I highly recommend Dr Ryan Nishihara of Meadows pediatrics. He is ranked very highly in the state and is very attentive. He even emebered what room I was in at the hospital after 7 months. He knows your kids by name and it is the cleanest office you will ever see!!

I second the little OCD but take it with a grain of salt I'd rather have a ped. who overly cares than one who doesnt! :)

I take my son to Meadows Pediatrics in Summerlin. Dr. Nishihara is wonderful, I will say he is a little OCD, but I am a first time mom and I would rather know more than not enough. There staff is GREAT they are always so friendly! I never have to wait, EVER! They are quick but very efficient. Good luck and welcome to Las Vegas! : )

I take my kids to the Fremont Children's Clinic at Moutain View Hospital off of Tenaya and Cheyene. They are a wonderful group and I would trust any doctor there. They have office hours 7 days a week so when I need one of them I can get one. Our primary doctor is Dr. Naiman and I just adore him.
