I've got the following in mine right now-
1/2 stick butter.
two onions chopped.
two bags of frozen zucchini
1 cup of chicken broth
topped with two chicken breasts (the chicken breasts are seasoned with paprika, salt & pepper).
I put the breasts on top, and not underneath so they don't boil.
once its all cooked through, I plan to shred the chicken and serve over rice pilaf.
Hubs likes to use it to make chicken tikka masala
I like to use it to make lentil soup with the following (red lentils, onion, plum tomato, salt, pepper, cumin, boullion, curry powder to taste).
We also use it for minestrone- (brown lentils, onion, celery, carrots, potato, salt, pepper, boullion, parsely)
We have used it to make vegetarian chilli- red kidney beans, black beans, jalapeno, tomato, onion, corn, pepper, salt, pepper, cumin, cayanne, celantro).
It makes for a good potato leek soup.
