I have really bad stretch marks that I recieved during my pregnancy with my now one year old daughter. I have tried cocoa butter lotion and it doesn't help. Do you have any other ideas of what works or has worked for you? Please let me know.

What can I do next?

Hi N.. I have some stretch marks as well. I'm not sure if Avon works or not, I haven't tried it. I sell Mary Kay and the simply fit lotion seemed to help and we also have some cellushape contouring body lotion that is now out that I'm going to try. If you're interested, try and find a consultant or let me know if I can help.

oKay as far as i know you can't get rid of streach marks and nothing really helps to prevent them its all about how your body streaches. But i have found stuff that will lighten them up. I get it through Avon its called Re-fine its a streach mark reduser and it has reduced the visibility of my streach marks. So if you wanna give that a try you should. If you have any other questions just let me know.

I don't mean to be the bad news bear but test have showed time and time again conclusively that nothing actually works or helps. You can go and get them zapped with a laser at the Plastic surgeon if it is that much of an issue for you. But that is expensive, time consuming, and a little pain is involved. But, The nice thing is stretch marks go from the horrid purple/pink they are to eventually a nice silver color and become barely noticeable. Wear them as a trophy that you had that baby and put your body through the ringer for that child! I know I do.

wish i could help..i used the coco butter 'during' my pregnancies (2) and don't have one stretch mark. NOW.. with that being said.. supposedly 'they' say coco butter or anything else doesn't work. but i tried it anyway..just in case. i don't see the harm in trying it. some might say it's genetics but my mom and sister had horrible stretch marks. so i'll just say i was lucky..lol

hope the avon stuff works for you:-)

Plastic Surgery is about the only option you have at this stage of the game. Cocoa butter only helps to reduce the marks if you use it during your pregnancy, at least thats what i have heard. Good Luck and PLEASE let us know if you find something that actually works.

Hi N.!!

Oh my gosh, have you ever heard of N. Miller products??!!! Love them!!! She is an East Coast fashion designer and she's partnered up with an international health and wellness company, Melaleuca. All her products are environmentally safe (as is melaleuca's). They have some products that are amazing for the skin.
I would love to share with you the company. It's a wholesale company and all their products are to die for but their cost is equal to that of your local store, even Walmart so you don't have to worry about breaking the bank to get great stuff.
We're all referred by other satisfied customers. I have enjoyed their products for over a year now!!

Email me if you'd like to get more info.

So excited for you and your daughter. So wonderful having children. I have 4 and I am so blessed to be a part of such a fantastic job in life!!!

God bless!!

At the department stores you can get cream that is like $30-$40 that works. I sell avon and have something called Super Shape Stretch Mark and Cellulite cream. It works (according to my repeat customers). It is normally $16 but I can get one for 8.25 for you because it was on sale in the last campaign. The good news is, if it doesn't work, you can return the unused portion and get your money back. You can't do that in the stores if it's opened.

Email me at work at ____@____.com or at home at ____@____.com (or both). I'd be glad to get you some. Thanks! K.

I tried the cocoa butter too and it didn't help either. Now that I am older with 2 healthy kids and no chance of ever flashing my tire, I mean tummy, I have learned to accept them as my badge of honor and a reminder that this was where my babies lived for 9 months! I am proud of every one of those silver scars and wouldn't change them for the World! But if you do find a miracle cure, I wouldn't mind using it on the stretch marks on my butt!
