We buy our tires from Discount Tire and have always had good experiences. I am EXTREMELY picky about my car and they are very respectful of that at my location.
I currently have a high end sports Michelin, BUT, I drive a high end Mercedes sports car. I love these tires. Our other 2 cars are Mercedes as well and we use the top of the line Michelin.
Discount has a great warranty program as well if you have any issues. Also, they also have guarantee with these tires. For instance, with my car and daughter's car, our 2 front tires and 2 back tires are different sizes meaning no rotation, yet the tires are guaranteed for a certain length of time.
The 1st time we bought 4 tires on daughter's car (then still mine), CLK model, we paid around $1600 BUT when it came time to replace tires due to wear and tear, they were still under the warranty and that time, when we replaced all 4 we only paid $800 due to a partial warranty being used.
I am a believer in you get what you pay for.
