We moved to the West Palm Beach area before my son was born (6 1/2) months - the Pediatrican we chose was local to where we used to live (Broward County) which is about 45 minutes south of where we live. For normal check ups the drive is fine but if he gets sick we are not going to want to do that drive. I am looking for a Pediatrican (prefferably a female) who is not in a rush to get us out the door. One that explains things throughly. Our current Pediatrican gives us an information sheet discussing the foods he should be eating @ this time & his progress along w/ his weight, height, etc. I would also like a doctor that has a sick & well area waiting room. Does anyone know a Pediatrican w/ these requirements in the city of West Palm Beach, Greenacres, Wellington or Lakeworth area? Thank you!

Hi N.. I am a widoed mother of two in palm beach gardens. I have a 7 year old and a four year old. When my youngest was a baby we went to pediatric associates in pembroke pines but moved up here when he was 1 1/2 yeas old. I was excited to find that they had MANY offices up here. I personally use Dr. pamela Rogers from the jupiter office and have for the past 5 1/2 years. They also have a website where you can see each doctor and their credentials. www.pediatricassociates.com

i take my daughter to Palm Beach Pediactrics.
Dr. Wayne is the doctor we see sometimes.(she is female)but in my experience all of the doctors i have seen are very good and answer all my questions without me feeling rushed.
the number is ###-###-####. and they have a few locations but i go to the office off haverhill(between ockee. and 45th street)if thats not and good location for you ; ask them and they can give you the number to a closer office. and yes they do have a sick-well waiting room.

Hi N.,I wish you luck in your search.I moved here 3 years ago and learned by trial and error.doctors are like people some are tuned in to what you need and others are just bloodwork and tests and previous info.from other drs. When you make first appts take all records with you and if you see your not getting the time or response you are looking for go to another.Asking other mothers is another way to go get answers to questions from her. I have had some of the worst (they dont even look at the results of tests they ordered you go back and they say "what are you here for today?" Or "all is fine".You present them with the pathology reports you obtained from the hospital and they say "well you are allergic to certain meds" Believe me left that office fast.I still intend to report him.Needless to say the group he was with got rid of him right away.

I really like the pediatrician my son goes to. Very thorough and doesn't rush at all through the visit. Also, he does have a sick and well room. He is located at Forest Hill and 441

N., I am new to WPB as well and also had a great Pediatrician in Broward. I love Pediatric Associaties and thank god they have locations as far north as Port St Lucie to Miami...If you are specific about your needs I am sure they will accomodate. You can even schedule a tour and there are plenty of female Dr's.. There is a location in Boynton Beach off of Hagen Ranch and one on 441 in Royal Palm. I prefer the Boynton office, larger really animated and separate well and sick areas... Contact me if you want more info
