Some other things to try:
Your city or county recreation centers (or parks and recreation department) surely has "classes" for babies and toddlers; these are usually parent-and-child things where kids get to move around and adults participate. Great stimulation. These classes often have names like "Wiggles and Giggles" etc. Seek them out. Infant swimming lessons are usually available too, where you get in the pool with baby and get her used to water etc.
Depending on your baby's age, try a music class. I strongly recommend Music Together, which is national. They take infants up to about five years old and it is a blast for parent and child!! Kindermusik is a similar program but I don't have personal experience of it.
Check with your local churches etc. for moms' groups and play groups. These are not necessarily "run" by the churches and do not necessarily have any religious content; often churches (like mine) have a lot of space that they rent out during weekdays to groups.
Check with your local large health care system. Go online and see if it has a branch that organizes moms' groups (many of these may be discussion groups where moms bring their babies). Our large health care system here also sponsors mom-and-baby yoga classes, with babies on blankets on the floor being rolled and touched and lifted by moms -- everyone has fun!
